GoLite Venture Sleeping Bag Review

Hello Readers,

I bring you a review of the GoLite Venture Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Down Sleeping Bag. This sleeping bag is designed to be a light as possible while protecting you from weather as cold as 20 degrees. Sure, there are thicker, heavier sleeping bags out there that will keep you warmer, but do you really want to carry all that extra weight? I think not. The GoLite Venture Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Down is definitely the kind of sleeping bag you’ll want to take on longer multi-night hikes and camping trips.

The GoLite Venture Sleeping Bag’s shell is made from pertex endurance nylon with a polyester lining. Nothing natural about this sleeping bag, and that doesn’t bother me at all. The shape of this sleeping bag is Mummy with a draft collar. You should be between 6’0 and 6’7” to be able to use this bag properly. You’ll be okay if you are a little shorter than that, just make sure you’re 6’7” or under, you might not fit! Oh, and did I mention this sleeping bag is a very light 2 lbs.? Very light indeed! It’s a little pricey though, just sift through my reviews, I’m sure you can find something cheaper and better. Look for it on sale!
